On November 16, 2022, a meeting of Polish marathon runners with the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Athens, Artur Lompart, took place at the PIAA headquarters. Over 30 athletes from various regions of Poland took part in it. The ambassador answered questions from the participants of the 39th Authentic Athens Marathon, which took place a few days earlier, congratulating them on their sports spirit and inviting them to visit Greece again. During the meeting, which was also attended by members of the Institute, Beata Kukiel-Vraila, General Secretary of PAIA in Athens & Cultural Programs Manager, presented the main goals and current activities of the Polish Archaeological Institute at Athens.
