On May 22nd, our Institute hosted a screening of the film “Berło z brązu. Symbol zmiany cywilizacyjnej” (eng. “Bronze Scepter. Symbol of civilizational change”) directed by Mr. Krzysztof Paluszyński (producer: PFS PalFilmStudio Sp. z o. o.). The screening of the film was preceded by an introduction by one of the scientific consultants, Prof. Janusz Czebreszuk, Director of our Institute, who in his speech also discussed the importance of Baltic amber for the Mycenaean culture. Mr. Krzysztof Paluszyński was a guest of the Agon International Archaeological Film Festival in Athens, held on May 20 – 2, during which his earlier film entitled “Rondels – a great mystery from 7,000 years ago” received the award for the best director! We warmly congratulate the winner!
