The Governance Council of PAIA
The Governance Council of the Polish Archaeological Institute
at Athens is appointed by the Rector of Adam Mickiewicz
University in Poznań for a four years cadency. The Board
consists of one representative from each signatories of the
agreement from 26th of September 2018. The Governance
Council is managed by the PAIA’s Director. The tasks of the
Council especially comprise the approvals of the Directorate’s
yearly settlements, to define the rules of services offered by
PAIA and to settle the amount of the yearly contribution of
each signatories of the agreement from 26th of
September 2018.
The present Governance Council cadency is represented by:

The Academic Board
The Academic Board is appointed for four years cadency by the
Rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. The Board
consists of one representative from each signatories of the
agreement from 26th of September 2018 and – at most – the
same number of members characterized by great scientific
achievements, that are chosen by the Governance Board. The
main tasks of the Academic Board is to care about the scientific
level of the projects conducted and realized within the PAIA and
to coordinate the publishing policy of the Institute.
