The First Annual Meeting of PAIA took place on the 19th of May, at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Athens. It was hosted by the Ambassador – Artur Lompart and Director of PAIA, Prof. Janusz Czebreszuk, who have given a report speech on the activities of PAIA for 2021. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Kazimierz Lewartowski, the Head of the Academic Board of PAIA. Among the guests of the Meeting there was Prof. Georgia Kokkorou-Alevras – archaeology professor of Athens University, Prof. Veronique Chankowski – Director of French School at Athens, Konstantina Benisi – Director of the Foreign Schools Departament of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Sławomir Pyl – Consul of the Republic of Poland in Greece and other officials of the Republic of Greece. The Vice-driector of PAIA, Prof. Ewdoksia Papuci-Władyka have given a lecture on the archaeology of Greece in Polish research until 1989 and Polish Classical research on the Hellenic civilization after 1989, while Prof. Bartłomiej Lis presented Polish research on the prehistory of the Aegean after 1989.
